Shipboard Power Cable
Shipboard Power Cable – Engineered for Marine Safety & Reliability
Our Shipboard Power Cable series is purpose-built for the harsh marine environment, delivering safe and uninterrupted power distribution on vessels, offshore platforms, and shipyards.
Fire Safety First
Manufactured with low-smoke halogen-free (LSZH) compounds, our cables minimize toxic fumes and smoke density during a fire – crucial for evacuation and rescue operations. They meet IEC 60332-3-22 Category A flame-retardant requirements and are available in fire-resistant (circuit integrity) designs tested to IEC 60331, ensuring emergency circuits remain live for over 90 minutes under direct flame.
IACS Certified
Our cables hold type approval from major classification societies including ABS, DNV, BV, CCS, LR, and NK. They fully comply with IEC 60092-350 and IEC 60092-353 for power cables with extruded insulation, rated at 0.6/1kV (low voltage) and up to 12/20kV (medium voltage) . Suitable for all vessel types – cargo ships, tankers, FPSOs, naval craft, and offshore rigs.
Built for Tough Conditions
Featuring tinned copper conductors (Class 2/5), XLPE or EPR insulation, and optional steel wire/tape armour for mechanical protection. The LSZH sheath resists oil, fuel, seawater, UV, and ozone, ensuring a service life of over 25 years even in engine rooms and exposed decks.
